Warnings: Character death, lots of strong language, queer characters facing discrimination, pregnancy. Zombies and the resultant violence, most of which is not explicit - but some is! The occasional overall gross-ness and gore encountered in places the zombies have been.
Summary: Zombies happened, and they happened hard. Joe Bronwen didn't realize he was signing up to lead the Rainbow Brigade to safety, but there's a silver lining in every irritating cloud.
Giftcreator's notes: I was pretty sure, when I started writing, that this would only be 1500 words. I would like to think that, in this case, more is better. Also, I blame you completely for having such an inspiring prompt. Thank you for that!
